hand-woven straw and are produced in and
around the village of Bolgatanga, Ghana,
West Africa. Of superior quality, tight
weave and bright colors, these are the best
quality baskets available and are fairly
traded from a self-funded women's cooperative.
These Market Baskets are perfect for harvesting
herbs, carrying fresh produce from the garden
(or market), for a picnic, to hold bath
towels, knitting or craft supplies, childrens
toys ... or whatever you wish!

no-interest micro loans, paying school tuitions
& providing school supplies plus medical
